Mount Desert Island, ME What do you do in Maine?  You eat lobster.  Lots of lobster.  At Thurston’s Lobster Pound they happen to sell this delicious marine crustacean for about $4.50  a pound.  That’s about what you’ll pay for Boar’s Head maple glazed turkey breast at Kroger.  We rented a house from a couple of gay guys and for a week ate lobster nearly everyday.  Best thing about Mount Desert Island?  The bike trails?  No.  Maybe it’s the abundant and affordable and most appetizing lobster.  Worst thing about Mount Desert Island?  It’s really big. (that’s what she said)  To get anywhere you most likely have to drive, unless you’re staying in Bar Harbor.  And driving this island is time-consuming.  Especially when there’s a baby in the back seat of your rented Kia Rio that screams when she’s in the car for more than 5 minutes.  Efrancine, I’m looking in your direction.

Brussels, Belgium Sometimes I like to worry on park benches.  There are just so many things in life to worry about.  The economy, work, the weather, fergs, the US Curling team, anything, and everything.  I’m pretty sure on this particularly sunny day in Brussels, I didn’t have anything to worry about.  How come when there’s nothing to worry about, park benches are plentiful?
