Salt shortage? I’ll bet W. has something to do with this.

I saw on the news that there’s a road salt shortage.  We just had snow here in river city and all we heard about was how there’s not enough salt.  Full on panic for a dusting of snow.  So I’ve been thinking, how can we be running out of salt.  The only logical explaination is that George W. Bush and the big salt companies are drumming up the prices for their own profits.  Just as W. did with his big oil cronies.  It’s Bush’s last way to screw the public.  We’ll go through half the winter with a salt shortage.  Don’t worry though.  I expect shortly after Barack Obama takes office all major roads will be heated.

  1. I like your blog. Would you consider exchanging blogroll links?

I don’t care whether blogroll links and comments agree or disagree as long as they are witty or intelligent, as your blog is. The important thing is that we have intelligent discussions to improve America.

Our future is what we make it. Idiot Congress and elected officials have proven by example that if we do nothing, we have no future. The first step is never to vote for the person currently in office.

It helps to have some entertainment, satire and laughs along the journey.

    My blog address is http://franklynchusa.wordpress.com

If I put a second url in this comment spam filters block me, so if you are interested, google

    frank lynch for president

and add google’s first url to your blogroll if you really want to improve the future of America a lot

    Thanks

  2. I saw yesturday that a town in Iowa is using garlic salt from the local spice plant to treat their roads. Add some melted mozzarella cheese and a cold pitcher of beer and you’ve got a party!

Its also W’s fault that it snowed in Vegas and that the Gov. of Ill. tried to sell Obama’s Senate seat.

  4. U know I was late to work one day a couple weeks ago when it snowed so much..and you know why?? Cause of the figgin salt shortage in clermont county! my road and beechmont ave all the way to 275 was completely covered..took me an hour an a half just to get from my house to 275, a normal 15m drive. And then I hear later in the day that they were only salting the corners and hills..well they sure wernt salting the hills on our road..cause i got stuck! makes me mad, cause didnt this happen last year? the salt shortage i mean….so why wasn’t this mess fixed between now and then??? I didn’t pass one single salt truck that day on the way into work.

  5. Don’t worry ataylor, flying cars are coming. We won’t need road salt anymore. Just lots of glycol.

  6. Apparently the state of Indiana is feeling the pains of a salt shortage since I almost died on I-74 New Year’s Eve.

  7. I wonder why we can’t use UREA on the road :D
